School-Based SLP | Hedgesville, West Virginia

This full-time position offers the opportunity to serve as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a K-12 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. Located near Charles Town, West Virginia, this role supports students across all grade levels, providing vital speech and language therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid West Virginia SLP license and West Virginia teaching certification for SLP candidates, or
- Valid West Virginia SLPA license for Speech Language Pathology Assistants
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of speech-language development and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student communication needs
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards governing educational therapy services
Position Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contracted for the 2025-2026 academic year
- Location: K-12 school in the Hedgesville, WV vicinity
