School Speech Language Pathologist - Heath Springs, SC

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Active South Carolina LLR SLP license
- South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide direct speech and language therapy for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with special education teams and families
- Maintain compliance with documentation, Medicaid billing, and progress reporting requirements
- Consult with teachers, families, and related services staff to best support student growth
- Participate in eligibility and team meetings as an active and valued member
- Engage in professional development and stay current on best practices for school-based SLPs
This contract position follows a school-day schedule (7:00 am – 2:30 pm), allowing for a great balance between professional and personal commitments. Gain experience working onsite across multiple school sites within a supportive environment.
