School Speech Language Pathologist - Hayward, CA
Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school environment. The role covers the remainder of the school year, working onsite with a diverse TK-8 caseload of approximately 20-30 students, 3-4 days each week.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Active SLP credentials (CCC or CFY considered)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Comfortable working with students in TK through 8th grade
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with initiative and flexibility
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students onsite
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student growth and adjust interventions as needed
- Attend and participate in relevant school meetings and IEPs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
