What You’ll Bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with children in school-based settings, especially early childhood and pre-K populations
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices a plus
- Excellent collaboration abilities for coordinating with fellow SLPs and educational staff
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a caseload independently during scheduled hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services for students as part of a two-person rotation
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs, focusing on younger age groups
- Collaborate with another SLP to divide responsibilities for early childhood, pre-K, and students utilizing AAC devices
- Maintain records and progress documentation according to educational and professional standards
- Engage with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure integrated care for each child
