Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active or eligible Florida SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but strong clinical skills considered
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress accurately
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Use evidence-based interventions to enhance student communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
This contract role offers flexibility, with openings for both 2-day or 3-day schedules, or the option to combine for full-time hours if preferred. Compensation starts at $43+ per hour, and the assignment may be renewed if an excellent match is established.
