1st Grade Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist in Harvest, AL
Step into a dynamic role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will support students across a broad spectrum, from Pre-School through 12th Grade. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year and welcomes both full-time and part-time applicants. You’ll collaborate with a supportive educational team, providing individualized services to students from elementary through high school.
Ideal candidates have a passion for working with pediatric and adolescent populations and demonstrate flexibility in handling caseloads at multiple grade levels. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K–12) is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfort with a variety of service delivery models, including individual and group therapy
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate student records and document progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with staff, parents, and students
- Serve both general and special education populations across all grade levels
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to support student achievement
