Travel Speech Pathology - Hartford, CT
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Hartford, CT, for the current school year with the possibility of renewal for 2026-2027 based on performance and fit. This role supports K-12 students, providing therapy services across 2-3 classrooms, with caseloads of 6-8 students per day.
Key responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals. This role requires delivering high-quality services without the assistance of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at this time.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification/licensure appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to manage a caseload of multiple classrooms and students independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 36.25 hours per week
Assignment: School-based, travel to the specified location required
Duration: ASAP through End of School Year, with potential renewal for the 2026-2027 academic year
