A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year in Middletown, PA. This full-time contract role focuses on providing essential communication support services to elementary students in a structured educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy for a caseload of 34 elementary students, all diagnosed with autism.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to support academic and social success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations related to speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification for school settings.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within elementary schools.
- Skilled in supporting students with autism and other communication disorders.
- Ability to perform assessments and deliver targeted therapy interventions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Working hours: 8:10 AM – 3:40 PM.
- Location: Middletown, Pennsylvania.
