Speech Language Pathologist in Hanceville, AL

In this role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to provide vital speech and language services tailored to student needs. With a manageable caseload of approximately 50 elementary students, you’ll have the chance to see your efforts translate into meaningful progress every day. The full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, supporting a positive work-life balance within the academic calendar.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid Alabama SLP state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Alabama Educator Certification required
- Experience in a school setting preferred, with strong skills working with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide support and strategies for teachers and families to maximize student success
- Maintain compliance with all state and district policies
