Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an SLP in Michigan
- Prior experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication, language, and speech disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students as part of their IEPs
- Administer assessments and contribute expert recommendations for student services
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers and families
- Document ongoing progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Provide resources, strategies, and guidance for educators and caregivers to support student success
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology
