Your expertise will directly impact students' communication skills, working with diverse caseloads that may include communication support, behavioral support, or multiple disabilities classrooms. This environment is perfect for SLPs holding their CCC or Clinical Fellows ready to begin their career journey in a supportive school-based setting.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC credential or entering your Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
- Ability to provide speech-language services to elementary and high school students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience or interest in working with a variety of classroom settings, including communication support and behavioral support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Assess and document student progress and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide support and education to teachers, staff, and families regarding communication strategies
- Adapt therapy approaches for students with complex needs, including those in specialized support classrooms
