Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Background in pediatric care, particularly within school or healthcare settings
- Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized speech and language intervention plans aligned with educational objectives
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
- Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide direct therapy, both individually and in small groups, addressing articulation, fluency, language, and social communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, delivering expert insights and advocating for student success
- Offer consultative support to classroom teachers and families regarding strategies for supporting communication development
