Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Background in pediatric care, particularly within school or healthcare settings
  • Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized speech and language intervention plans aligned with educational objectives
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide direct therapy, both individually and in small groups, addressing articulation, fluency, language, and social communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, delivering expert insights and advocating for student success
  • Offer consultative support to classroom teachers and families regarding strategies for supporting communication development
