Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in New Hampshire, with CCC required
- Demonstrated school-based experience, ideally with middle and high school populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds
- District fingerprint clearance (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for fostering student achievement and communication independence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualized treatment goals
- Maintain collaborative relationships with educators, staff, and parents/guardians to support student IEPs
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings as needed
- Empower students towards greater participation and confidence in the classroom
Work Hours & Setting:
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Onsite at school, with a supportive multidisciplinary team
- Caseload includes middle and high school students
