Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to practice in a school setting
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience providing SLP services within a school environment is highly valued
  • Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and creating intervention plans for a range of speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and document progress in accordance with school or district guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective support strategies
  • Support students’ ability to access the curriculum and build communication skills in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain detailed records and regularly communicate student progress to all stakeholders
