Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Central Square, New York

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (CCC, CFY, or strong pediatric experience preferred)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles
- Ability to work confidently with K-12 caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP systems; training provided if needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Flexibility for itinerant travel between two assigned sites (mileage/travel pay included)
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in therapy practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, identify, and document communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Participate in team meetings, and contribute to the development and review of IEPs
- Provide education and guidance to staff and families on speech-language strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and records in compliance with administrative procedures
- Engage in ongoing professional development and district-offered supervision, especially for CFY candidates
