Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hamburg, NY

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of IEP process and experience delivering direct and consultative therapy services
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in individual and small group settings
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's IEP
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain timely documentation of services, progress reports, and required paperwork in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer consultative support and strategies to educators to foster inclusive learning environments
