Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Texas)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of 60-65 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation and therapy to students ages PK–5th, including general education, special education resource, and self-contained life skills programs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for student support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Serve as a resource for speech and language questions within the school teams
