Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association preferred.
- Current G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction is required.
- Eligibility or possession of a license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations for students according to state and district guidelines.
- Provide individualized and group therapy, targeting expressive and receptive language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address students’ IEP goals while monitoring ongoing progress.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to share results, progress, and recommendations.
- Offer expert advice and consultation to staff and families regarding speech and language development and intervention strategies.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Participate in planning, oversight, and multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize service delivery.
