What you’ll bring:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license (California state required)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English—written and spoken
- Previous experience in a school, preferably with preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP writing, and progress documentation
- Adaptable, compassionate communication style for working with families, educators, and young children
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach
What your day-to-day will include:
- Delivering onsite speech-language therapy services to preschool students
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and individualized education program (IEP) development
- Collaborating with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster optimal student progress
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities tailored to each child’s needs
- Documenting therapy sessions, tracking progress, and maintaining compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Facilitating communication and parent/caregiver education so gains extend beyond the classroom
