School Speech Language Pathologist - Gustine, California

Make an impact in students’ lives as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, providing support and expertise for K–12 students. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic educational setting near Gustine, CA. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to help students overcome speech and language barriers to reach their full academic potential.
Your experience in school-based SLP settings will enable you to deliver comprehensive services, from assessments and intervention planning to progress reporting. What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility; open to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple student cases effectively
- Passion for promoting student growth and fostering an inclusive learning environment
Role highlights:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K–12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families regarding student progress
- Maintain meticulous records and prepare progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention planning
- Educate staff and families on strategies for supporting students’ speech and language goals
