Speech Language Pathologist in Grovetown, GA
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic years. This full-time role (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week) is available immediately through late May 2027. You’ll play a crucial part in empowering students to reach their full communication and learning potential in a dynamic, collaborative school environment. While on-site services are preferred, highly qualified virtual candidates will also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP License and GaPSC Educator Certification (verification required upon application)
- Demonstrated experience as a school-based SLP, including conducting speech and language evaluations
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans
- Strong familiarity with IEP development and participation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students according to assigned caseload (to be determined)
- Assess student needs, utilizing a variety of evaluative tools and techniques
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with educators and caregivers to maximize student outcomes
