Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Georgia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-8 student populations, especially K-5
- In-person availability for up to 20 hours per week
- Solid skills in assessing and treating articulation, fluency, and language disorders
- Willingness to collaborate with educators and families to promote student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, focusing on articulation, fluency, and language interventions
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
- Contribute to team meetings and participate in staff professional development
