This role is a contract position, requiring full-time commitment onsite. Virtual SLPs may be considered if paired with an onsite SLPA.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Special Education Licensure/Certification (required; submission must include verification)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment highly desirable
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and participating in IEP meetings
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Willingness to commit to a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, for the entire academic year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
  • Perform comprehensive student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise for service planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely records that adhere to district and state standards
