Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfort with delivering services across a variety of student needs in classroom settings
- Willingness and ability to provide supervision for SLPAs as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to interact with students, staff, and families
- Open to working in-person two days a week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in assigned classrooms
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams, including teachers, parents, and school administrators
- Provide supervision and mentoring for SLPA(s)
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help design effective intervention strategies
