Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for practice in school settings
- Prior experience delivering SLP services in schools is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in alignment with IEP goals
- Maintain timely, detailed records and progress documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to maximize student success
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
- Adapt therapy strategies to diverse student populations, including those with varied communication challenges
