Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with elementary-aged children is highly desired
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual student needs and IEP goals
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and clearly document findings
- Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Keep thorough records of therapy sessions, progress, and compliance with district policies
