Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Louisiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Expertise with early childhood or PreK caseloads, including developing and implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with itinerant service delivery and flexibility in working across sites
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to PreK students (ages 3-5) in an onsite, itinerant capacity
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation in alignment with federal and state regulations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ individual needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational environment for early learners
