Travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Greenwood, SC
A dynamic opportunity is available for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in educational settings, to support school-based programs in Greenwood, South Carolina. These full-time roles offer a unique travel-based assignment catering to diverse student needs within secondary education and itinerant caseloads.
Position Details:
- Location: Greenwood, SC (travel assignment)
- Caseload 1: Secondary Education focus
- Caseload 2: Mixed Itinerant support across schools
- Schedule: Full-time, 4 days per week
- Contract: 190 days, starting July 17th, 2026
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare environments
- Previous experience with teletherapy platforms advantageous
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent
- Expertise in planning and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads in educational settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focusing on secondary education or itinerant student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to enhance service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school policies
