Preferred qualifications and desired experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Indiana or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and speech/language screenings
- Compassion, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to a preschool caseload (approximately 60 students, number may vary)
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child's unique communication needs
- Conduct thorough assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
- Contribute to early intervention strategies and evidence-based practices within the classroom setting
