We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school-based team serving students across the K-8 age range. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is committed to helping students achieve their communication goals while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff.
Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Contract Duration: Through the end of the school year
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students
- Split caseload between two school campuses, with approximately 25 students at each site
- Schedule consists of approximately half the week supporting elementary-aged students and half the week supporting junior high students
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- School-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
