This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students from preschool through 12th grade within a small, rural K-12 school district. The caseload primarily includes preschool to 5th-grade students, with a few cases at the junior/senior high level. Serving approximately 60 students, about half of whom have language impairments or speech intelligibility needs, this role is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
  • Designing and implementing evidence-based intervention plans to address speech sound production, language development, and other communication disorders.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with educational regulations and standards.
  • Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • State licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Prior experience working in a school environment is preferred but not mandatory.
