A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting. This role supports students’ communication development through direct therapy and collaborative efforts with educators and families. Services may be delivered both in-person and via teletherapy, offering flexibility and broadening access to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
- Deliver teletherapy sessions as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC preferred).
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology or teletherapy.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and educators.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of current educational and therapeutic standards and best practices.
- SLPA experience or credential is a plus but not required.
