Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology license and DPI certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school-based settings, preferably with elementary caseloads
- Strong skills in assessment, individualized education program (IEP) creation, and therapeutic intervention
- Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for elementary school students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Write and update IEPs, regularly tracking and documenting progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support each child's goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and strategies for classroom settings
- Stay current on best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
