Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active South Carolina state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- South Carolina educator certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Document services and monitor student progress as required
