Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Central Point, Oregon
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting located in Central Point, OR. This contract position covers the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students across all grade levels.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children from kindergarten through 12th grade. The SLP will develop individualized education programs (IEPs), provide teletherapy and in-person services, and collaborate closely with educators and families to support each student’s communication goals. This role is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and includes work with pediatric populations.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods for speech and language services
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly desired
- Ability to manage a full caseload covering all grade levels (K-12)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
