Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students across multiple educational settings. As a full-time speech-language pathologist, you’ll deliver impactful services Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:40pm. Your primary focus will be split between Liberty High School—providing targeted interventions for students in the ESC and BEST classrooms—and offering essential overflow assistance at Heritage Middle School and potentially an additional school in the district. At Liberty High School, you’ll directly engage with approximately 11 students needing specialized support, dedicating three days per week there and the remaining two days at other sites as assignment needs arise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Possess SLP – CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Demonstrated school-based experience and familiarity working with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills for managing a dynamic caseload across multiple locations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing individualized therapy based on student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in both group and individual settings
- Develop and implement IEP goals and interventions tailored to each student
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to promote student success
- Contribute to overflow support needs as assigned within Heritage Middle School and an additional site
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student progress
- Communicate regularly with families and educational teams
