Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist through a dynamic contract opportunity for the upcoming school year. This position offers the chance to work onsite across several supportive school environments, providing essential speech-language services and collaborating within educational teams.
You will primarily serve Liberty High School, working with students in ESC and BEST classrooms (approx. 11 students). In addition to direct support at the high school for three days each week, you will offer "overflow" services for Heritage Middle School and potentially another building two days per week. This collaborative role supports continuity of care and maximizes student success across different grade levels.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP state license (CCC-SLP required)
- Schools-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing needs
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educational staff, students, and families
- Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Support and consult with teachers and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Travel between buildings as required
