Provide specialized speech-language pathology services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple school locations in the Chokoloskee, FL area. This contract position involves delivering direct speech therapy and conducting evaluations tailored to the needs of elementary, middle, and high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students ranging in age from K-12.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
- Manage caseload across multiple schools, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school-based settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy strategies and evaluation procedures.
- Ability to effectively coordinate services across multiple locations.
Work Locations (may be combined to create a full-time position):
- Palmetto Ridge High School (3 days per week)
- Pinecrest Elementary in Immokalee (1 day per week)
- Lake Trafford in Immokalee (1 day per week)
- Highlands Elementary in Immokalee (1 to 5 days per week, flexible)
- Golden Terrace in Golden Gate City (2 to 3 days per week)
