Speech Language Pathologist in Gloucester, VA

With three positions available, you’ll have the chance to work with elementary, middle, or high school students and contribute to their communication growth and academic success.
This full-time, contract role runs from August 13, 2026 to June 10, 2027. Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and CCC-SLPs are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive supervision and mentorship will be provided for CFY candidates. You’ll manage an average caseload of 55 students, collaborating closely with school teams and families to design and implement targeted interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Open to SLPs holding CCC or currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varied student needs
- Comfortable working onsite in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff development opportunities
