Two immediate needs are available: Position 1 spans January 27, 2027, to March 15, 2027, covering a medical leave. The caseload includes enthusiastic middle school students and some elementary-aged children. Position 2 covers the academic year from December 4, 2026, to June 25, 2027, working with elementary-aged students.
What makes you a strong candidate:
- Holds current New York licensure as an SLP-CCC
- Experienced in school settings or pediatric SLP (school experience especially valued)
- Comfortable managing caseloads for elementary and/or middle school students
- Skilled in assessment, therapy planning, and collaboration with educators and families
- Adept at maintaining thorough records and adhering to IEP processes
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to create supportive transitions and learning experiences
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Employ best practices to help students achieve communication and academic goals
