Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, WA

Preferred candidates will bring experience in various SLP settings, including healthcare and schools, and demonstrate a passion for working with children. If you’re newly certified (CFY) or a seasoned CCC-SLP, your knowledge and compassion will be valued as you support students’ communication abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid WA State Dept. of Health SLP License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- WA State SLP ESA credential.
- Successful completion of fingerprinting as well as WSP, FBI, and sexual misconduct background clearances.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License or proof of reliable transportation/mobility.
- Prefer prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings.
- Open to both Clinical Fellows and experienced SLPs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in-person, fostering their communication skills and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
- Maintain documentation and participate in IEP team meetings and professional development.
