Grades 9 - 12 Grades 6 - 8 Speech Language Pathologist in Reno, NV

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students from Pre-K through Grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups across all grade levels
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding communication strategies and progress
