Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure/certification for Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, though CFY candidates may be considered
- Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in K-12 educational settings
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs across K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports
- Support students’ educational and social success by addressing speech and language barriers
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
