Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; applicants completing their CFY will also be considered
- Experience or interest in providing services within K–12 school settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
- Provide consultation and strategies for classroom staff and families to facilitate carryover of skills
