Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in school settings, with a focus on pediatrics and K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of IEP process and proficiency with documentation and progress monitoring
- Effective communicator with teachers, support staff, and families
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services on campus
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for IEP development and student success
- Maintain compliant and thorough documentation of services and progress reports
- Educate and assist teachers and families in carrying over strategies into the classroom and home
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development throughout the year
