What you bring:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Experience in one or more of the following: school-based SLP, SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, teletherapy, pediatrics, or healthcare
- A passion for fostering communication skills and supporting student development
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Adaptability while working with a variety of school sites and student age groups
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support professionals
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services for students (caseload and specific ages to be determined)
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement evidence-based therapy
- Employ both in-person and teletherapy solutions as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches for optimal outcomes
- Serve as a valuable resource for teachers and parents, offering guidance on speech and language strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure holistic support for each child
