Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Maryland SLP licensure required; images of licensure must be provided for credentialing
- CCCs preferred; exceptional CFYs considered (supervision provided)
- At least one year of school-based experience strongly preferred (strong references or exemplary backgrounds will also be considered)
- Ability to work on-site across up to three schools, with flexible assignments based on your skills and home location
- Comfort managing varied caseloads, from elementary (up to 40 students) to middle school (peak of 57 students)
- Must complete a House Bill background check prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to K-8 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in alignment with district best practices
- Travel between assigned school sites (up to three), with assignment schedules to be determined
- Engage in ongoing communication with supervisors to tailor caseloads for professional growth and student needs
