Speech Therapist in Gadsden, AZ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a school setting located in Yuma, AZ. This contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with hours totaling 40 per week. The caseload is anticipated to include 26 to 27 students, though details will be finalized closer to the start date. This role requires onsite presence.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona SLP License
- Arizona Educator Certification
- IVP Fingerprint Card clearance
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence - CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working within a school environment with a diverse caseload including PreK-8th grade students
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, assessment, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to state and district guidelines
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
