Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF) or SLP Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior school-based experience strongly recommended for success
- Ability to provide services exclusively onsite (no remote/virtual sessions)
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and delivery of student-focused interventions
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document services delivered and maintain accurate records per district policies
- Participate in eligibility, progress report, and IEP team meetings
- Offer mentorship and guidance to support staff as needed
