School-Based SLP | Strasburg, Virginia

You'll deliver vital SLP services for a respected district, supporting learners across school locations in and around Winchester, VA. Collaborate closely with educators and families while focusing on direct, onsite involvement—teletherapy is not being considered at this time. Newer practitioners are welcome; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply alongside seasoned SLP-CCC professionals.
What we're seeking:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- SLP-CCC or candidates who have completed all requirements for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Ability to work onsite (remote work is not available for this assignment)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct language, voice, and fluency assessments and screenings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide evidence-based intervention and therapy for students with diverse communication needs
- Document and progress monitor student outcomes, communicating regularly with IEP teams and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student success
